This collection consists of Donald B. Darling's research and subject files; Northeastern University lectures; publications; TNEMC architectural plans; committee files (School of Medicine and library); School of Medicine faculty meeting minutes and announcements; and annual reports, budgets, and statistics.
This collection is comprised of memorabilia from the Boston Floating Hospital, compiled by Dr. John Kulig, former Director of Adolescent Medicine and pediatrician at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. Materials include realia, postcards, publications, annual reports, correspondence, receipts, photographs, a nurse’s notebook, and a CD of a Pediatric Grand Rounds session, as well as historical research materials. The bulk of the collection dates from 1900 to 1927.
This collection consists of one oversize ledger including prescriptions by various local doctors and pharmacists, largely from West Somerville but also including Cambridge. They are glued into the oversize ledger. It is currently unknown why a central ledger was kept that tracked prescriptions by various doctors and pharmacies by consecutive numbers.
This collection contains committee minutes, correspondence, curriculum vitae, presentations, publications, reports and syllabi of Norman S. Stearns. The majority of the materials related to Stearns' capacity as Director of Clinical Affairs for Tufts University School of Medicine. Of particular interest are records and publications related to the development of a bioethics program of study at the School of Medicine.
This collection is comprised of correspondence, clippings, and scrapbooks documenting the life and career of Dr. Paul J. Jakmauh, Massachusetts Commissioner of Public Health from 1938-1943 and a member of Tufts Medical Class of 1912.
