Scope and Contents: This collection consists of one inscribed silver plated "Communion set" consisting of a flagon and four goblets stored in a 19th-century wooden box. The box is lined inside with purple velvet and covered on the outside with black canvas. One inscribed silver coin "Communion" set consisting of a covered pitcher and four goblets.

Farnsworth's journals document his life as a teacher, pricipal, Universalist, and father in New England from 1866 to 1926. His notebooks include his college English class notes and a scrapbook of Medford.
