This collection contains two boxes of newspaper clippings collected by Albert Warren Stearns. The articles were cut from publications dating from 1697 to 1937. The clippings are grouped according to specific subjects assigned by Stearns. The content of the articles reflect Stearns' sociological interests, and cover topics such as crime, prisons, health, and welfare.
