Overview: The Artifact Collection is an artificial collection created in 2001, which consists of materials relating to Tufts University and people associated with Tufts University; artifacts from ancient cultures and modern; and manuscripts, prints, and other texts, all dating circa 2150 BCE – 2007 CE. Materials included in this collection are coins; cuneiform tablets and cones; illuminated manuscripts; leaves from early printed books; maps; paintings; prints; sculptures; textiles; and other artifacts.

Scope and Contents: This collection contains the digital content collected and created for use in the Boston Streets project. Boston Streets: Mapping Directory data was developed by the Digital Collections and Archives, Tufts University, with support from a National Leadership Grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Scope and Contents: This collection contains the newsletter from the Friends of Tufts Libraries announcing news, sponsors, calendar of events, and other information. It is published twice a year. Libraries covered by the publication include the Tisch Library, Digital Collections and Archives, Edwin Ginn Library, Hirsh Health Sciences Library, and Webster Veterinary Library.

Scope and Contents: This is an artificial collection consisting of material related to theater productions including playbills, souvenir programs, periodicals, and images. Most of the collection relates to late nineteenth and early twentieth century plays in New York as well as the greater Boston area.

Scope and Contents: This collection represents web crawls of Tufts University websites and student organization websites conducted, under contract, by the Internet Archives using their tool Archive-It. The first focused crawl was conducted on November 2, 2009. The web crawls are managed directly in Archive-It. Beginning in 2015, student organization websites were added to the crawls. Only websites of student organizations that are officially recognized by the University are crawled.
