Gustav Davidson Papers

Scope and Contents: The majority of the collection consists of books from Davidson's personal collection; some correspondence, clippings, photographs and promotional brochures are interfiled with the books. Also included are photographs, clippings, diaries, correspondence, drawings, awards, poems, programs, bulletins, and publications. Much of the correspondence relates to Davidson's duties as Secretary of the Poetry Society of America, a position he held from 1949 to 1965.
