Biographical / Historical
Robert Cheanault Givler (1884-1975) was Assistant Professor of Philosophy (1918-1921), Professor of Philosophy (1921-1925), Fletcher Professor of Philosophy (1925-1944), Hunt Professor of Psychology, endowed chair, and Chairman of the Psychology Department (1944-1951), and Professor and Chairman of the Department of Aesthetics and Creative Imagination (1945-1952) at Tufts University.
