Biographical / Historical

Zebulon Lewis White was born on July 23, 1842 and received an A. B. from Tufts in 1866. He worked as a teacher from 1866-1867 and then as journalist, for example for the Galveston Daily News, Texas, in the 1870s. He served as a Trustee at Tufts from 1872 to 1889 and died on January 1, 1889 in the Bahamas.
