Boston medical researchers in laser laboratory where laser light is used on cancers transplanted into animals. Left to right: David B ushnell, biophysicist at Raytheon Company, Dr. Paul E. McGuff, Research Fellow in Surgery and Dr. Ralph A. Deterling, Jr., Surgeon-in-Chief at Boston's Tufts-New England Medical Center. First results of these studies were reported at annual meeting of American College of Surgeons in San Francisco.
