Biography

Abstract:
The Advocates for Tufts ROTC was organized in 2005 to encourage continuation of ROTC at Tufts, as well as to promote enrollment in the program. They publish a newsletter annually. <p>The Advocates for Tufts ROTC representing Air Force, Army, Marine, and Navy alumni of Tufts University and friends of Tufts ROTC, was organized in 2005 to encourage continuation of ROTC at Tufts, as well as to promote enrollment in the program. The Advocates work closely with Tufts administration.</p> <p>The Advocates work with the Tufts University Alumni Association each year to plan the annual Tufts Veteran's Day ceremony. The event includes a passing of the flag, speech by an alumni veteran, and lunch reception. Current Tufts ROTC students are invited to attend, along with local alumni, faculty, and staff who are supportive of Tufts ROTC.</p> <p>The Advocates for Tufts ROTC publish an annual newsletter that is distributed to 2,000 alumni and friends of the ROTC program.</p>
