Abstract:

Webster Family Library (1993- ) was opened in 1993 to support of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, which was started in 1978.

Webster Family Library (1993- ) opened in 1993 to support the research and scholarly prospects of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, which was started in 1978. The school was named for donor Dean Webster, the former CEO of Blue Seal Feeds.

The library has a collection from the 19th and 20th centuries related to horsemanship and equestrian materials, (from the John A. Seaverns Equine Collection, gifted by Seaverns in 2002). There are also books on animal conservation and wildlife.

John and Barbara Rudisill have also donated a collection of Currier and Ives prints in honor of their daughters, one of whom was a Tufts Veterinary School alumni (Tricia Rudisill, V92).
