Biography
Responsibility for new student orientation once fell under the pervue of the Orientation Committee. Currently, the Office for Campus Life takes a leadership role in the planning and implementation of New Student Orientation.

The Spectrum
This collection contains issues of the The Spectrum. It is a semesterly publication that highlights news from each passing month concerning students at Tufts as well as Asian American issues published by the Asian American Alliance. In addition to the current publication run of The Spectrum, this collection also includes one issue of a previous publication by the same name produced by the Asian community at Tufts. Some issues are only available in electronic form.
Today Tufts
This collection contains issue of Today Tufts. It was the predecessor to the Tufts Daily,and was a student-run newspaper of Tufts University. Today Tufts began on September 20, 1977 and ceased publication in 1979. Each volume covers one academic year. The issues are undated and have been dated by the archives staff. The archives holds one copy of each Today Tufts issue.
Tufts Hilltopper
This collection contains issue of The Summer News and Hilltopper. They contained news and articles about summer programs at Tufts. The Tufts Summer News, a student newspaper, was created in July 1946 and existed until August 1948, when for its fourth volume it was retitled the Tufts Hilltopper. The Tufts Hilltopper continued production until 1971.
Tufts Observer
This collection contains issues of the Tufts Observer and web crawls documenting its web presence. It covers university news, sports, and events, primarily on the Medford campus. It also includes editorials, announcements and calendar items of events, and nationally syndicated comics. Volume numbering begins with vol. 1 in 1969, and varies in frequency. Sometimes a volume covers one semester, and other times one academic year.
